An incredible place with a great atmosphere a really vibrant community buzz. Range of hot drinks is impressive as is the wide spectrum of gaming experiences on offer. Very knowledgeable staff who are always at hand to get people gaming. Long live Geekbox I say (and I'm sorry for the BO nasally-sensitive chap, I'll get my yearly bath before my next visit)!

The hot drinks are amazing! (Plus they're only £1 if you go on a Monday!) They also do some really good mocktails; I think they're updating their menu for these just now.

Amazing environment, nice staff, somewhat long waiting times, but that's a product of how engaging and willing to help the staff are!

I went here for the first time today and loved it.
The atmosphere is brilliant. Just so relaxed, a purpose-built geek paradise. I wish there'd been something similar when I was younger rather than just Fantasy World (RIP) which was always a bit too seedy... and a totally different setup.
The staff are lovely.

Just go in for a very reasonably-priced drink and play the Coronation Street edition of Monopoly. Spot-on.

Excellent facilities for playing as well as a superb selection of comestibles (including hot drinks). Friendly environment (both staff/owners and customers). The effort (and investment of time and money) is targeted to make this a safe and fun environment as opposed to the veneer. Free access to many items so a great balance between a local facility and a bit of commercialism to fund it.

Awesome place. There's a huge range of things to play from MTG to 40k. There's books, board games, a small store, and a coffee shop. Friendly, mature and welcoming environment

Super friendly board game and tgc gaming café with hot and cold drinks being available. Staff are super friendly and helpful so will find what you need or try and order it if if they don't have it.

Visited for the first time post-lockdown and was very impressed with the social distancing measures. Plenty of space (it's a large store in any case), plenty of divider screens and contactless payment. The staff are friendly, helpful and chatty, and the prices are very reasonable. I didn't see any gaming taking place, but I expect that will come in the near future. Great to see this local store reopening.
