I have been using the services of Goodman Property for over 10 years.

We had been renting serviced offices provided by Regus in Cambourne, Cambridge for a couple of years. Serviced offices are expensive and our growth meant that it would be more cost effective to purchase our own premises.

We approached Goodman Property to assist us in our search as we had no experience whatsoever in terms of purchasing commercial property. Johnny Goodman provided us with what has proved to be invaluable assistance and saved us many thousands of Pounds. He showed us around a number of premises and whilst doing so educated us in various aspects involved in the purchase of commercial property.

Johnny eventually found us our perfect offices based in Stow-Cum-Quy. He was able to negotiate a significant reduction in the asking price and was also able to assist in the legal formalities required in the purchase of a commercial property including the recommendation of a Solicitor.

Over the years after the initial purchase of our offices, Johnny has been able to assist us in finding numerous sublet tenants for our offices.

He has an instinctive feel and perception in terms of what his Customers need and require and rapidly tunes into providing what is needed.

Johnny has a huge depth of contacts and a profound knowledge of properties around the geography of Cambridge. He is hugely proficient and is able to assist with all sorts of matters involved in both the purchase and rental of properties.

We have a number of commercial offices and warehouses, mostly in Cambridge and Newmarket, and have used this company for all of our lettings and sales. I did try other companies and even attempted direct rentals via banners on the roadside, but every single time we ended up going thru Goodman Property. They have always given a first class, personal service, which is only achievable when the proprietor is personally involved in the business. I have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars.

Service has definitely gone down the pan, Johnny is useless at coming back to you and keeping you in the loop. Had dealings with him on number of occasions. If you are a mind reader you will be ok but if you're not don't expect to know what is going on with office space that you express interest in. I would not recommend this business at all, it seems like he isn't bothered about making money or earning a commission as all the offices we have discussed have gone absolutely nowhere. Painful overall.

After a long and tedious process with the man in the office, we finally deliberated on an office location. Price started at £30k and this soon crawled its way up to £45k; if I wasn't so desperate I wouldn't have taken this deal. Handover took 5 long months during the peak of Summer - costing us a lot of money as a business.

After arriving at our new office, the horror on my face to see that the location had been left in ruins for us. There were food stains on the walls, rubbish everywhere and open live cables.

I have attached a picture of this atrocity. We had our arms bent so far up our backs with the 5 year lease we had to sign.

I certainly won't be using this company, and I strongly advise against using them.
