My business partner and I went to view an industrial property. Not only was the agent showing us around rude and dismissive, but we felt we were judged by our age and not given the chance to even look around. We drove 1hr to view the property and 1hr back. We were subjected to disrespect and judgmental decisions after origionally being informed by the office that we could view the premises based on our business requirements. We were then told on arrival that the site did not allow for the motor trade. The letting agent didn't introduce himself and was most unhelpful. Whilst inside the premises for the sum total of 2 minutes we noticed that the industrial units in Bath pool, Taunton, were not even completed in terms of plumbing and electrics, despite being under the impression from the advert that they were ready to go. When viewing the premsis the letting agent did not contribute to any part of the conversation nor provide any information regarding the property. The only thing he did was apologise for the landlords personal possessions being stored in the unit. We will not be using this company in the future, and would recomend that anybody seeking to do so would think long and hard about their decision to go with this company. We were made to feel like we were an inconvenience to the agent when it was us that had been misinformed. I think some re-training is in need for some of your staff. Judgmental, ageist, rude, unprofessional.

I have to say I am bitterly disappointed with the policies in force with this business. I have sold my property for half a million pounds and cannot find a property to purchase within the catchment area of the School my daughter attends. This has forced us to reluctantly look at the rental market. There is only one property available within the area we need for our daughters school whereby the rental price has just been reduced (I assume this requires a tenant sooner rather than later) and we were told we could not view the house nor put any potential plans in place as we have not exchanged contracts! Honestly, this company expects us to exchange contracts then be left with perhaps a week or two to organise a viewing, attain references and move in or be homeless. We would be willing to pay a holding deposit and 6 months rent upfront if needs be and willing to lose our deposit if our house sale falls through. But no, they will not even contact the property owner to say there is interest. It bemuses me how some companies conduct business! Add to the fact that we need to rehouse our loving dog and 3 amazing cats without a hint of empathy for our situation, I would not recommend any upstanding, decent family to engage in conversation with this firm and I pity the owner of the property in Pound Lane, Bishops Lydeard for putting their potential income into the hands of this firm.You may wish to rethink who you are putting your faith in? I am not in the habit of damning any business, but quite honestly, I am completely baffled and wonder if your policies would change if the rental market one day slows down from it's current bouyant state?

I am really fed up with the Taunton branch. They are just to worse of people. I’ve dealt with the same person twice and questioned their approach twice. Katie is just the worst, absolutely awful person.
