We hired the Shelley Room for a work event- Afternoon Tea and Entertainment.
Heene Community Centre was the perfect location with parking, staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much.
Affordable, spacious and Accessible.
Thank you for helping us host a lovely afternoon.

Excellent venue with friendly staff, catered for our every wish and worked with us for the parts we wanted to do ourselves. Very relaxed atmosphere which was just what we wanted. Set the food up for us and helped to clear away as well. Gave us our perfect day.

Heene Road Community Hall was an excellent choice for my husband and I to hold our 30th wedding anniversary. There was plenty of room for our guests and the staff were most helpful.
We had their cafe do the catering for us and we lovely fresh, tasty food. Joanne kept an eye on the food and drink to make sure it was always replenished.
We were very happy with the service.

We booked out the Centre for a birthday party for my 4 year old. It's a great space and the outdoor space and playground went down particularly well with the kids. Our caretaker Guy was very polite and helpful. We had a wonderful day and would definitely book the space again in future for similar events.

We recently celebrated the Christening of our son in Heene Community Centre and venue was great for us. We had 2 connecting rooms which was perfect. The staff were all so helpful from viewing the place to decorating till the end of our party. A big shoutout to Tom who assisted us and to the caretaker during the event, sorry I didn’t get his name but he was so helpful and kind despite the kids running and shouting around the room while he was setting up. Thank you again to all and we will definitely be back for our next occasion! They have a lovely room with downstairs connected to the garden which looks amazing for a children’s party.

Great space for a children's party. There was large bouncy castle in the main hall which stayed cool. Plus two outside areas including play area.

Went there for Christmas gift stalls, so many to choose from, great market.
Whilst there was reading the notice boards and realised what a huge number of events happen here, was quite amazed. Numerous yoga classes, pilates, dance classes for varying age groups, coffee mornings most days. I've probably only touched the surface !!
What a super community resource.

Have held my little boys birthday party here twice in the Shakespeare Room with the Chaucer Room as well. It's great for parties, car park at the venue and street parking also available. The hall is a great size, enough room for 30 kids and their parents, a bouncy castle and soft play along with tables for food etc. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend.
