Not sure what's worse, the bullying problem or the way they handle bullying.
Don't believe in their whole 'we don't tolerate bullying'.
I was bullied severely there and all they did was push it under the carpet, said I was lying then tried to bring in social services.
They also have a smoking, drug and alcohol problem.
They care more about their students looks than their education or well-being.
Whatever you do, don't send your kids here, you'll regret it.

No. Simple. Too big and the school has dramatically fallen in the last 2 years. Glad to see the chief bully is leaving at the end of the year although not soon enough for my step daughter." Legacy", laughable and will be a good day when he's gone. Some brilliant teachers but it's a massive NO.

Everyone is mentally unstable. I feel being in prison would be better. Food is dry and over priced. Years 7-11 they care more about your uniform than your welfare. Head of year in sixth form, not even the other teachers like them. They sell sixth form to people as a post 16 option but in fact it is utterly shocking and disappointing.
Use this as your last resort.

If I could give 0 stars i would, they do not tackle bullying and have zero compassion for children with additional needs. Don't torture your children, by sending them here.

Do NOT send your children to this school. They personally attack you if you disagree with them. Not just verbally I mean professionally, they will isolate you and make life very hard. Education isn’t a priority nor is the health and well-being of the staff and pupils. Their priority is if the kids hair looks right, the skirts are correct and the children must smile and nod! Most children are scared and suffering from some kind of anxiety as a result of the school.
I’m sorry but all the “outstanding” rubbish is just that - rubbish.
I’m not aware of one child or parent that is happy with this school but the next nearest secondary school is in Plympton and that’s not an option for some parents.

If you’re outspoken and stand your ground they will hate you and make life very difficult for you and your child.

The bullying doesn’t stop with the kids the teachers are just as bad if not worse.
The teachers who care and want to help the children and have their best interests at heart don’t stay long because they are shut down at every turn.
There is just one good teacher at the school I won’t name her but you’ll know if you ever come across her.
