In the wake of an episode of serious ill-health, my home desktop PC has become fundamental to my everyday life and gradual recovery.

Alarmingly though, after many years' continuous reliable usage, it suddenly developed a fault one afternoon this week, and began shutting itself down as if there'd been a power outage. I made repeated attempts via Windows 'Startup repairs' to get it up and running again but none of them worked, so at 9am next morning I telephoned Millennium as soon as it was open to ask if they could take the PC in as an emergency job.

Millennium did. The PC was inspected on the test bench by 10am and a major hardware fault identified: its CPU was over-heating due to fan failure, hence why the computer had been self-protectively shutting itself down and preventing me from using it.

By lunchtime that same day, Millennium had repaired the fault, cleaned the computer, tested it several times and rung to say it was ready for collection. The bill for the work involved and the morning spent on this work was considerably less than £50, representing remarkable value for money.

Kudos then to Millennium for an outstanding, highly responsive and impressively professional value-for-money service. A nerve-wracking experience for me was actually resolved at lightening speed by professionals I've never previously dealt with, but whose skill and care I'd commend to everyone else.

I really cannot recommend Millennium too highly!
