XMA, St Albans

A computer we ordered was not delivered for three months -- when we were ordering from Apple kit would arrive within 2 days -- repeated enquiries got no response. When the iMac DID arrive, with no apology or excuse for the delay, the contents of the box were not as we had specified, there was no extended warranty (yes, we paid for it), and attempting to get the incorrect kit changed for the correct kit resulted in no reply whatsoever. And continues to have no reply. The iMac does work, but it blooming well should since XMA are just ordering it in a box from Apple. Frankly I'm appalled by the 'service'.

Large operation for custom builds of PCs and phones. Impressed at the scale and organisation of the build area. Technicians here are knowledgeable and easy to work with. Currently using XMA for a rollout of several thousand devices using a custom build developed by the organisation I represent.

Absolutely horrible customer experience! My research laptop purchased from XMA has been damaged in December 2021, liquid was spilled on it, and it had to be sent it to XMA for them to fix it. Since then, XMA have been horrible at communicating, they kept ignoring my follow up emails, and kept making empty promises about purchasing new parts for the laptop. In my latest call with them in early March, I expressed my frustration and emphasized how this has hindered my research and how extremely frustrating this experience has been. They then emailed me to let me know that the laptop simply can't be fixed after they dragged this on for 4 months. What a horrendous unprofessional company. Avoid at all costs!
