The staff are great.
They said it would take them a week to formally 'diagnose the problem' (which they already confirmed when I dropped it off). I do not understand why I would book a specific drop-off slot just for them to take this long to even look at it - why did my computer have to sit around in their store for a week when they knew they couldn't get to it? I could have used it during this time.
They called me after they had had my computer for 9 days as a 'courtesy' to tell me they had not been able to diagnose the problem yet due to staff absences but that they would do it the following day. They then took another week to fix the problem. I had emailed to say I had a huge event I needed it for, and they did not do anything in terms of trying to finish (even though THEY were the ones who were late) and were curt with me when I reached out about progress updates. They also did not allow me to take my computer back as-is because they had disassembled it, so I had no computer for this event.
All in all it was an incredibly stressful process and I recommend just buying a ticket to London to bring your repair to an actual Apple store.
Very knowledgeable, polite and great service from a brilliant team.
