The Ark Centre

It's a great conference space. The main auditorium is large and bright and can be split in to two. I sat in various seats, the comfy ones are the permanent seats in the upper section, and the sight lines were good from any of them. Has disabled access to each area, bright Atrium and plenty of break out rooms. As a veggie the lunch could have been better as, unlike the meat waters, I didn't get any hot options. The sandwiches were okay but not thrilling, good tea selection and great coffee. Water in abundance in all rooms. At each opportunity they cleaned the rooms and gave fresh clean glasses. I would be happy to book this space if I had need in the area.

Really nice conference centre, and the lecture theatre was comfortable and a good temperature. Parking fills up quickly in the Ark car park and you have to overflow to the main hospital car park (although for this event they did still give free parking). Limited food choices for lunch, and slightly small portions, but good tea coffee, biscuts and croissants.

Whilst on a work visit to this Hospital, I popped in here for a coffee. Spotlessly clean and tidy with trendy decor. The lady serving was very chipper and helpful. Would definitely go there again.

Clean. Easy to find. Parked round the corner for free and walked. Had covid vaccine there. Obviously the nhs staff were lovely. Receptionist on desk helpful and friendly.

Need to sort parking out. Rooms freezing cold. WiFi shockingly bad - keeps dropping out while trying to manage part online meeting.

I loved their coffee, just against them calling it a bar if they do not serve alcohol.

My friends and I enjoyed a Christmas Meal here on 16th December. We have been here before for Christmas Meals and always enjoyed them and we weren't disappointed on this occasion. It's a lovely venue for even a light meal or snack during the day. Would recommend it.
