Highly recommend this company! They have just completed a loft conversion and an extension on our property in Preston. Our family now have more than enough room. This company is polite, hard working, with good prices, they always aimed to please us by advising us with the best ideas. Over the moon we chose this company as they came across more professional and it shows in there work. We have also re booked NHJ construction Ltd back in for works to replace are old kitchen

Couldn’t fault this company at all. So polite, always on time, finished within the time slot given. Absolutely brilliant quality work. Me and my partner are over the moon with our finished loft conversion. We have gained so much more living room thanks to Lukes advice and excellent service. These guys did a kitchen renovation for my mum a few months ago. They were very professional with there job ans work very hard all the way through. We loved how clean and tidy they were. There attitude was brillant and couldnt fault them in anyway. Would highly recommend.

Owe me £1200 for work that didn't go ahead, and "can not give a date" as to when they'll pay me back. Unprofessional, and unacceptable. Hope I don't have to take them to court.

EDIT to reply: The work shouldn't need planning permission as it is permitted development. Your architect was just of the opinion that the council would object because they would assume it is student accommodation or something (which it isn't), so he didn't do the work. However, this was never actually tested so we don't know. At some point I will probably try again with another firm/architect and we will see then.

Regarding the money, I asked for it back 3 weeks ago, and as explained, really need it now. I paid the money to you, not the architect, so morally, and legally, you owe me the money, regardless of when the architect pays you back. Just pay me back and I'll edit this review to up the star rating.

EDIT 2 (now 6 weeks after original review): Still nothing. I'm now taking this to Trading Standards.

EDIT 3 (now 3 months after original review): I've opened a small claim against them. Ridiculous it's come to this. Be very wary of paying them anything up front!

Also, I spoke to the architect and they said they never received the payment, so it was a flat out lie they were waiting for the money back from them! The next excuse I got was that they had a frozen business bank account, yet I can see they are trading from Facebook!

EDIT 4 (now nearly 4 months after original review): They now have a court judgement against them for the money they owe me (and still not paid it back). Be very careful handing them over anything before they do the work!

EDIT 5 Finally got the money back (13th Feb, when first asked for it on 24th Sep). Sad that it had to come to all this to get it back (i.e. just short of a warrant and bailiffs).

This company goes above and beyond. Always a friendly service by the staff and make you feel very welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone
