R G Carter

I have worked with the R G Carter group of companies for the last 30 years on a massive range of projects. We have worked as far afield as Jersey and within two miles of home!
Over this time I have enjoyed some fantastic friendships and learned alongside this family run company.
They go from strength to strength and encourage small suppliers such as us to improve via training and support us along the way with advise and practical assistance.
I have no hesitation in giving a five star review and hope we continue now through my sons and Diamond Probuild (Wisbech) Ltd, with this strong relationship for many years to come.

We supply numerous waste services to RG Carter Projects. They are a large company but with a 'family-business' ethos.
We work with the main offices and are in direct contact with many Contracts Managers and Site Managers.
It's always a pleasure to work with them.

RG Carter were one of the first companies to take a chance on Horton Construction Services when we were starting out. 8 years later and we are still working for them and enjoying a good relationship.

They are excellent to work for on site despite insisting on a high quality threshold from us. The commercial team are generally fair with their assessments of accounts and most importantly in this day and age they are prompt payers which is a good reflection of the family approach that the company takes.

We hope to continue working with them for many years to come.

I have completed 2 projects with the Bury Saint Edmunds group of RG Carter and have found these people a pleasure to work with.
From the pre-start planning to on site completion and handover it was a very good experience. Any construction or logistic problems were tackled as a team rather than separately which made working together a much more enjoyable experience.

AllClad Solutions Ltd have worked with these guys for quite a while now and have carried several high profile projects for them and always find them to be approachable and proactive. More importantly possibly is that payment has always been very promptly and is a very good indicator to us of how the business is run. Long may it continue!

Traffic lights on Tayfen Road cause chaos around construction site. Avoid if possible. I understand this is not connected to R G Carter in any way, and Google pinned them to my phones location in the traffic jam. The rating of 2 stars was for the construction site and traffic control.

We have had a working relationship with RG Carter for many years now and I can genuinely say that this is a fantastic company to be working for as a sub-contractor to them, materials are pre planned and on site in good time prior to work tasks being carried out, materials are stored correctly, payments are on always on time, they have a payment schedule so as long as you can abide by that then there are no problems in that regard, QS's offer an honest and fair assessment of the accounts, if a cost is genuine and agreed then that is as far as it goes, we have not encountered a Surveyor once with RGC that ask for a figure that you would settle for, they review the project accounts in depth, they are a professional contractor that values there clients aswell as the people that work for them, the projects are always in safe hands with RG Carter and they have the best intentions in every aspect, whether that be Health and Safety, quality of workmanship, client reputation, sub contractor reputation , these are a great Contractor to work with and we hope to do so for many years to come.

I would have to highly recommend R G Carter to work for.,all site mangers and staff all approachable and we work together to get the jobs complete whatever it takes.
