I wanted a shed – but not just any ordinary garden shed. I wanted one that was solid in construction, fully insulated against heat and cold, with windows, doors and enough power sockets that it could be used for my project. And it needed constructing on a proper base instead of the uneven, slippery slope at the desired location.
Exe Valley Building Services delivered everything I wanted with skill, impeccable attention to detail and excellent communication throughout the design and build process. The finished building is warm (one electric radiator on its lowest setting so far this winter), dry and comfortable to work in.
Constructing the base, including a good solid set of steps, involved an old-fashioned hard (and skilful) slog as access for machinery was problematic. Attention to detail while the shed was built was excellent, the site itself was tidied each day and at the end of the project everything was cleared away promptly.
I felt that the Exe Valley Building Services team took a great deal of pride in their handiwork and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Brilliant. Exe Valley designed a perfect replacement for our rotten porch roof and completed the work ahead of time and exactly to the quote we agreed. At every stage they did exactly what they promised they would do with attention to detail, good humour and professionalism. No doubt we will be asking them to fix the next bit of the house that falls apart!

Mat and his team were absolutely excellent. They did an amazing job converting an old lean-to utility into a new, properly roofed downstairs bathroom and utility for us. Nothing was too much trouble, Mat took the time to talk through everything with me and made great suggestions along the way. Easy to work with and the end result is brilliant (on time and in budget) - you couldn't wish for more.

Matt and team exceeded my wish list in every way. Their attention to detail has been amazing. What with competitive pricing, professionalism, tidyness and a friendly polite nature these guys are definitely the team to call if you're looking for a great builder that won't let you down :)

Matt & his team have recently removed our chimney & re built the gable of the house , this was all carried off over the weekend with final checks on Monday. My goodness what a efficient service we received from start to finish , scaffolding arranged & erected , Matt & his team arrived as arranged early Saturday morning. . Work completed to a high standard & all areas left tidy & safe . Would certainly use Matt again & would recommend him to anyone we know . Thankyou again to Matt & his team .

I would certainly recommend Mat and his team. From receiving a quote to the completion of our project, their approach, work and attention to detail was very professional and to a high standard. I am now planning my next project and would definitely use them again.
