Co-op Food - Market Place Pickering

Larger of the 2 Coop stores in Pickering with a good range and a much better ethical focus than other supermarkets.

Had an amazing lunch from the Coop in Pickering, it was fresh, tasty and great value, consisting of chicken and sage stuffing sandwich in granary bread with a hint of black pepper. Coupled with the gorgeous bacon and cheese bites it really filled me up, they are my favourite lunch deals, well done the Co-op yet again. Pickering is a nice town and if you get your lunch from the Co-op you can sit by the river in the sunshine and enjoy a pleasant lunchtime

Very clean and generally good produce. Bit understocked on some things probably due to a busy heatwave weekend. Overall good place to stock up on camping supplies and not overly expensive.

A nice big Co-op next to a large public car park with a bridge across the stream into the shop.
There are some picnic tables at the side of the stream from from where you can watch the ducks.
Altogether a nice place to shop.

Always able to get what I want, a little expensive, good choice and the kids love to choose their own ingredients. Beware on ok y two hours parking outside, so don't get side tracked.

Very good store only down side is parking is a payable which I think is wrong but depends who land belongs too ! Inside shop is pleasant and the staff are really polite and helpful store set up is great and everything easily accessible very positive shopping experience

Can get almost everythimg you need, but too few employees on cash registers for so many customers. Not everyone uses contact free registers cause they take usually only card.

Poor choice of healthy options with the Meal Deal offer. After making a mistake the lady on customer service was very helpful to rectify an issue I made.
