Co-op Food - Southbourne

Friendly staff and very very helpful as I am disabled in a electronic wheelchair the shop is always clean and love going to my local shop 😊

Absolute joke, I see shoplifters in there all the time and the first time I saw it happen I mentioned it to the lady behind the counter and she said ‘yeah she’s probably a regular, we will look at the cctv’. She could care or less makes me think I can steal because of how easy it is but I never have but it does irritate me how they only care about getting their pay checks every week instead of taking some pride in their place of work and trying to do something about it

Awful store. Shelves are always empty! Staff are rude and just push past you. Empty cages all over the place but the shelve are empty! Absolutely horrifying! Worst coop I’ve ever been into!

I arrived at 22:52 knowing yes they shut at 11pm, door was locked and guy inside said no. I get you want to leave but you advised you shut at 11pm not 10 to! All I needed was to pick up some milk after my late shift!

Prices are in line with metro stores, maybe even cheaper.

Absolutely shocking, repeatedly when using this store I have seen people stealing from the shop, boxes of alcholol, big tins of coffee.. when mentioned to staff, they state "yeah I know" and shrug it off. I usually let this slide, their problem, yet recenetly bought a tobacco product that wasn't in my bag and when I went back I was accused of "scamming" them and they had given it to me. I have always paid for my items in co op regardless of watching other people steal and their blasé attitude to theft, and then get treated the same as the minority of the regular theives that go there. I think I will look to boycott them in future if this is how they treat their loyal customers of many years (certainly well over a decade).

Ordered via Deliveroo for Queens Park rd just now and had an issue with an item but a lovely lady who's name I didn't get was amazing and so helpful on the phone.

Great shop. Very clean. Friendly staff. PayPoint too.
