Decent enough shop and open quite late midweek, but it's a little expensive compared to other supermarkets (although average for other shops in town). The quality's good enough, but they are prone to running out of fresh bread quite early on in the afternoon. The loyalty card offer is good too - it not only effectively gives you cashback, but it helps local causes.

It is what it is... plenty of parking and public loos nearby. There's a large ramp for trolley and disabled access. There is a cash machine but it's inside, therefore not 24 hours. There's also a community notice board inside next to the cigarette counter.
In the foyer there's usually a collection point for donating pet foods for charity.
Car park can be busy on market days, Thursday and Saturday.
The good thing about this co-op is if you're just popping in for a sandwich and a cold drink for lunch there's plenty of seating in the community looked after gardens nearby.

As with any review you may find useful, or even entertaining, please leave a Like, it makes us feel better. Thanks.

Typical coop, good products with a range of prices to suit most pockets. Location is the big bonus as it is an handy position.
Staff, like all supermarkets sometimes good sometimes indifferebt, but always willing to go back

Very clean and well organized. It's wide range of products makes it ideal for a last minute shop. Wheel chair ramp available and very friendly staff make it my go-to.

Helpful staff when I couldn't find pineapple rings. Then waited in a queue for a human because I don't work there so i won't operate a till. Only to be blanked for the entire process while she talked to somebody on a headset. The till would have at least said welcome and goodbye.

The range is great but could do with improvement in areas like the toiletries needing animal friendly ranges such as Bulldog for men. It's the coop. It was a pioneer of the BUAV (now Cruelty Free International) being the first supermarket to be certified, where Sainsbury's and other have followed. The free from range is good, if not brilliant, but needs to be in stock. I haven''t been able to get gluten free porridge here for weeks. Back in the toiletries/baby isle, I haven't been able to get cotton buds there for weeks either.

So many virtually empty shelves. Especially fruit and veg. The only items that seemed to be in abundance were foreign sauces spices and that terrible expression, dips. Ugggh. No Co-op butter now for about 6 or 7 weeks! WHY?
