Co-op Food - Petrol Kirk Hallam

Local place for Kirk Hallam residents, good selection of every day items.
Usually clean and tidy.
Some staff are ignorant some are friendly but only a couple are helpful.
On one of my last visits I found the female manager to be very ignorant along with the member of staff she was talking to. I only had a quick question but they both stood talking for around 5 minutes, they had both seen me and knew that I wanted assistance but neither would acknowledge me. In the end I firmly asked my question in order to illicit a response. I was not impressed at all. And although my question was answered it was not done so in a friendly way, more like I was an annoyance. I only go in here if I have too. Plus they are on the exoensive side for most things.

Awful work experience here. One or two good guys, Management(two in particular) spend too much time in the back doing very little, chatting away while the minimum wage workers do all the hard work, not aware that they’re responsible for the well being of their staff! knew three days into my contract that it wasn’t going to work. Shame. Potential to be a great place to work under unbiased management.

Absolute rip off. £3.10 for 5 chocolate brownies is insane. On the package it looks to be five big packs of brownies but the inside is 5cm long of brownies. All the stuff is pretty pricey and it is meant to be a corner shop. I can even get most of the things there for almost 2 pounds cheaper in Tesco and Aldi. Those two shops are more reasonable and I recommend them.

No bother. Solid, come through. What do you seek? Fuel? Yes. Everything you require. Be mindful of opening times - no man is an Island. Take care as always, fill up and leave. Surely you are doing the right thing. God bless us.

Easy self service for petrol, level access, no steps, good selection of food and drinks, clean and bright, friendly polite staff

Great place got everything you need from fuel to food and the staff are brilliant especially Alex he gives 100 % to the job so thanks coop

My favourite shop stop on way home from work. Nice friendly staff too
