Brilliant asset for Winster. Stocks a very good range of products for the size of shop and perfect for popping to if you've forgotten just that one little thing from the Supermarket. Obviously a very important community asset run by friendly people and dead handy for us tourists.

Convenient little shop located in the village of Winster. It is locally owned and maintained by local volunteers. Very informative and friendly individuals who helped me figure out the bus system as well as the local footpaths. Has all the main bits you might need while visiting/vacationing/living a Winster. Be on the lookout for local items like jam, meat and baked goods (delicious!) Friendly and warm environment and they’ve even got a little post office inside the shop!

Rudest woman working today. Went in and asked for Firewood and was met with a look as though I'd taken a dump on the floor followed by ' I don't know if there is any, it's down the back , you'll have to wait ' that's what I asked you ..... looks like we'll be burning the furniture again. Who said they're friendlier up north. Hope everyone in this village isn't this rude. Not a good first impression I must say.

Lovely shop! and, has best butter I have ever had!
I always pop in when visiting family in the area. Run by friendly and very helpful folks. It has everything you need from a local shop and lots more; all the essentials plus great range of credible local produce. The option to get cash-back is a lifesaver

A welcoming local shop. Behind the counter, a lady in an apron, with a Volunteer badge and a broad smile. From the outside the shop looks small - don't let looks deceive you. The shelves are stacked - fresh, frozen, tinned, newspapers, wine and beer for the adults, sweets and soft drinks for the kids. The list goes on. Also includes a sub post office inside and selection of stationery items. A real hub of what is a lovely village.

A wide range of Derbyshire produce, excellent selection of meats, veg, and dairy products sold. Owned by the local community. Fantastic window displays. A really pleasant experience with very friendly staff. Would thoroughly recommend.

This is the best shop! It has everything you could ever need. They even had flour and toilet roll when you couldn’t get it in the big supermarkets! The volunteers are always so friendly it’s a pleasure to shop there.
