Whitehorse Convenience Store

There is one star because I am unable to leave a review without one. The people who run this business are without a doubt the most unpleasant unhelpful ignorant rude people I have ever encountered in a customer service experience. Hermes use them for their customers to return parcels to Amazon and I would urge them to seriously reconsider this association with this business. The shop is dark, dank and dirty. I literally wouldn't spend a single penny with these people if my existence depended upon it.

Very smelly dirty vile shop! Zero customer service, Food stuffs unpriced and out of date, he always tries to either charge ridiculously high prices or simply shortchanges you.
When confronted he becomes very scary! Extremely rude, aggressive and abusive.
Please Avoid this shop at all costs.

Unbelievable. The guy behind the counter is very insulting, very rude, and equally arrogant. He should not be allowed to interact with customers. This guy has no idea of customer care and attention. I guess he had it too good for too long. Thank god we have the choice as to whom we want to buy from, and certainly this shop is not and will never be on my list

Always been helpful when I have asked for something. Find talking with respect I get talked back to with respect. For a small shop you have a lot of things available to pick from. I often use them to send my parcels with little to no issues.

From my experience I find the negative reviews completely unfair.
Yes it is more expensive than other shops, but it's the only late night convenience shop in a small town - so I expect to be ripped off a bit. Also no matter the day or time I pop in, it is always the same guy working, and he is always happy and friendly, despite the fact he is possibly working every waking hour. If you thought him rude you were probably just unlucky to catch him on a bad day.

Only giving 1 star as I couldn't give -5. Don't go here, you can find somewhere else - the rudeness isn't worth it. I absolutely couldn't believe how rude the store operator was (not sure if he is the owner or not) when I came to this store to do an Amazon return with Hermes. It was the first time visiting this store as I was trialling the packageless returns service. At first I had to keep leaving the store to get my QR codes up as the signal was really bad and the store operator was getting annoyed with me but I couldn't help that I was losing signal. When I printed my labels, I took my products and labels to the till and he literally threw the packaging at me. I told him that the instructions in the app said that the operator would sort everything out once I handed him the label and the products I was returning. He swore at me and told me that's my responsibility and that I was rude expecting him to do it for me. I actually apologised to him but he continued to shout at me and be very rude and aggressive to me. I tried to explain to him that it was the first time using this service and so since I was unfamiliar with it I was trying to follow the instructions that I had. Anyway, once I was done I told him that I found him very rude and it wouldn't hurt to be a little more helpful rather than throwing things at me and shouting at me. As I was leaving the store, he was shouting at me in the road which was just so embarrassing. I will never go here again. It really is a shame as Baldock is such a nice and friendly town and here he goes ruining it

Rip off, charged £13.50 to my card, that is priced at £9.50 in every other shop. Went there to pick up a parcel, which was a bit of a mess to be honest.

Disgusting service - should be called an inconvenience store. And I’m sure they don’t care about these reviews either. Avoid if you can possibly help it at all costs, very unfriendly, rude, and unhelpful.
