Kirby's Store

Whilst staying in Portsmouth amidst a brief getaway with a friend, I found myself doing a food shop at the Co-Op on Queen Street. Interesting story, I know, but stay with me here because it gets better. They didn't have vegetarian burgers, so I walked all over Plymouth to try and track some down. After trying five different food stores and feeling more and more drained after leaving each one, I eventually got my burgers from this place. And for that very reason I give this place five stars! I also bought a scratch card on the way out and won something, so Kirby's Store really was my saving grace. Fear not, friends, I'll write a book about my adventures someday.

It should be noted that the place was clean and staff were very friendly also.

DO NOT GO RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!!

Don’t go here. The guy at the front scanned my items twice without me noticing and charge me a bag when he told me it was for free. He scanned all of it when to a total of £5.23. I told him re scan it then it went to a total of £4.77. Don’t know what was the point of that but you can’t fool me.
