needed to emergency electric for my disabled mum and we where told we had to go to this shop. we were then told they could not do it due previous issues and the went out of their way to still do it with the risk of being out of pocket

30 pence charge for using your card if you don't spend over £5. Very disappointing for this day and age. Cash machine also charges £1.95 for cash withdrawals. Costcutter is the complete opposite of what I'd call this shop Haha.

It's a Cost cutter, definitely not the cheapest place to shop, but you can get the essentials, plus alcohol, lottery etc. Staff friendly and helpful, plenty of parking and open to 10pm

Was on a six hour journey to Tewkesbury from Newcastle-under-Lyme. Refilled on beef jerky and pineapple juice which i’m Still drinking. Five stars. Оаптащмоащмьалмьщаталмм

A Good selection with great prices.
Staff need training in customer service and politeness.
Bought a product which I noticed was out of date. I said to the lady at the till " I'm sure these are fine so I'll take them , but just to let you know they are all out of date on the shelf" Expecting an " Ah thank you for letting us know, we get that sorted." Instead I got a killer glare followed by "Well do you want them or not!" And a mumble about I wasn't her department .
I left feeling like that scum on a shoe ..... but "lucky me" I got at half price

Are all the previous reviewers lying about friendly staff here? I don't think they are; maybe I was just unlucky. I went to pick up a parcel, and was handled by a miserable so-and-so, who did nothing to hide her contempt, and did what she could to make me feel like an unwanted dog #### stain on the bottom of her shoe. So, I won't be using that store again. My wife had reason to use this store once a while back and got a similar treatment. I thought she was exaggerating, and I had totally forgot about that until now.

Although the prices are high here compared to other corner stores around Tewkesbury, it is in a very convenient area, and is a very pleasant retail store in general, with a clean interior, friendly staff, easy navigation, and following covid regulations too.
