The Co-operative Food

The Co op is a very useful and so helpful store selling a great range of food and household products at good prices. It is a must shop store in these troubled times friendly and helpful staff doing there best to keep all safe. For the elderly shop after 7pm they are quiet.

I must admit I'm bad at this, I only really leave reviews if they're very good or very bad. In this case it was very good! I consider this my local shop and somewhat a regular; I left this evening without a receipt, and thought on the way home it was a little more expensive than I thought - an offer not applied. I returned to the store a while later, on reflection, Gabrielle recognised me and was able to track the transaction and made good the discount. Reassures the 'co-op' values. Thanks to the local team for all you do day to day!

Prices are getting a bit steep but so is everywhere else. The staff are always very friendly and polite.

My local co op, often never stocked up, never have the things you need and expensive. Shelves literlly empty, never have the right tobacco in stock and one time the cashier said "we haven't unloaded it yet from the back". Long ques because often one person on the tills. Its really gone down hill.
I can spend £20 in there and walk out with a few items compared to other local places.
Started going to the convenient store next to the Broadway, always stocked and cheaper.

Please can you be nice to staff, as I visited later in the day all fresh baked goods had gone, which is good no waste. Very friendly and helpful staff.

i got a meal deal but there wasn’t that much to pick i wish i got the hoisin duck wrap but it’s not in the meal deal i got the pasta instead but it tasted like water and i don’t have covid so that’s not why

Always friendly, i do my parcel drop offs here and they always deliver good service :)

Pity as normally like the Co Op however your meant to close at 10pm no chase clients away at 9.45pm saying were closing and start pulling shutters down.
