Co-op Food - Great Baddow

Great local shop... Shelves are always well stocked, staff are really helpful and always a pleasure to be served by them... Quite often they have many deals and offers going...
I also had some milk from here that i believe went out of day quicker than it should have and they happily exchanged it no questions asked...
Great to have these people as part of our community...

This place has saved my bacon a few times:
When I need something unavailable at my more local shops and I know the supermarkets will be heaving, this place comes through.
For a modestly sized store it seems to stock everything. Add free cash withdrawals...

A lovely local supermarket, that doesn't charge the earth like other small shops. A good range of products and produce for all occasions. Friendly staff, good opening hours. Free parking nearby.

I shop here regularly and it is an absolute gem of a shop. Great range of fresh food and almost everything you could need. Friendly staff work hard to keep the shop clean and well stocked. Thank you Co-op.

The store is ok. Not amazing - just ok, even after a refurbishment!
The issue I have is the staff.
One day I visited and there was a chap on the door greeting customers- but although the shop was full of staff ( and customers) there was nobody at all to serve.
It’s ok having mainly self service - that’s the way all shops are - but not one til accepts cash - so you have to go to the counter.
If you have to wait for staff to stop chatting or messing around with magazines behind a queue of at least half a dozen , it just doesn’t make sense.
When finally served - and this happens a lot - the staff are so, so rude.
Especially the older lady with purple hair.
Every single time she serves me her disgusting attitude upsets me.
It’s not just me - I’ve seen her do it to countless others.
Please Co Op Re train your staff or re employ.
On that note there’s a young chap in there recently who is very pleasant - but he’s in the minority.

My local village coop and what a disappointment it is . The customer service from most the older staff is awful . Keeping customers waiting at tills while they have personal chats with other staff members and absolutely rude with there actions whilst serving . I now go tesco express where they treat the customer with a bit more respect

Nice sized shop, good range of products and a mix if self-serve and staffed checkouts. A few empty shelves Sunday night but this is expected.

After refurbishment, looks neat and there's more new products. A bit pricey on meats, but overall okish assortment of basic stuff.
