It's an over crowded shop, too much stock for the size of the shop and poorly laid out. Even if the entrance was disabled friendly which it's certainly not, there's a large step and a very heavy door. The shop can bearly cope with 2 people passing in the aisles. No way could you use a wheelchair in there.
The shop is ok for the 20th century but a total rethink for the 21st century I'm afraid.
The prices are usually expensive in comparison to the Shell/Co Op not far away. I think it should be decided whether Mcolls are a newsagents type shop an off licence or a food shop, it just not big enough to be all 3.
I don't think the landlord of all the shops and carpark knows how to bring it all into the 21st century or maybe cares. They don't even have 1 blue badge parking space and the normal bays are like sardine tins! So I can't put all the blame on to Mcolls.

It's a very small shop, there's nothing wrong with a small shop, however on a few occasions I haven't been able to get in or safely navigate with a pushchair due to stock on the floor or too many people in the shop. Avoid if you have a pushchair!

Went here with a mate during a break at college and we wanted to buy a monster energy drink. My mate bought it without needing ID and he was white but I had to show ID because I was different race. Tried to use my college ID but they didn’t allow it and it was weird that they thought I was under age to drink an energy drink and I was still in school or something even thought I wasn’t wearing a school suit and was able to go to a corner shop at 12:00. Absolute joke of a place.
