Kent Union Co-op - Park Wood

Super friendly staff.
Closes too early for being the only store open on campus.
Can be expensive, has a few good deals though.
Usually find what you want is out of stock.

But overall does the job.

Good level of stock and long opening hours. The lunch deal is very good value. There are three self-service checkouts and a counter service.

two stars because there is one really friendly person working there and are open until midnight. otherwise, it's overpriced, poorly stocked, sometimes things are mispriced and show up as double the price at the register. pretty much what you can expect from a uni campus Co-op.

Just wanted to say how helpful, kind and thoughtful the lady is at this store. She will know who she is!

Selection is minimal and pretty static. No hot options like the other campus shop. Minimal staff means you may be stuck at the self checkout waiting for someone to fix it after it broke for the 3rd time that visit.

This shop is downright exploitative, the pricing is ridiculous. Especially since it's made for students, who are forced to choose between inflated prices or a long walk to town. The only reason that it is 2 stars is that it is convenient.

Items are always mispriced. Seems like they're doing it on purpose or the staff are really incompetent.

Poorly organised, bad selections and doesn't always open to the hours advertised but friendly staff
