Co-op Food - Battersea - Northcote Road

2 stars because it’s convenient to have it in case you are in the area and urgently need something.
I’ve been here a few times, but each time I find empty shelves, dirty shelves with flour or sugar all over, expired food and limited options.
If you have time, you should consider other larger grocery stores in the area.

The service in this shop is wonderful. A young man called Sanjay served me and was SO helpful. He got me a basket on wheels and packed my bag for me. All the staff are SO respectful and helpful

If you order a grocery delivery from here via deliveroo, be warned that they pick the things about to go out of date. I had vegetables and bread all go off within 2 days of buying. Such a waste of food

To put things frankly, it's one of the worst shopping experiences I've ever encountered. I regularly visit the area and so for convenience have been into the store and on multiple occasions have had such appalling, embarrassing and extremely rude experiences but mainly, treatment. I've been accused of stealing when I had the item in my casually in my hand, I've been stalked through the store multiple times by staff. Everything I go to the checkout I have to ready myself like I'm a pack of walkers crisp because the staff who are salty as heck not only lack manners (no hello or how're you, thankyou or your welcome) but just scan every item super fast be there a long que or no one in the store. To Then at the end ask would you like a bag? Now should you dare be so audacious and say I need a bag master oh pretty please honour me with a bag. You'll receive the biggest eye roll since the lotto million rollover and regardless of age, build, ethnicity or even capabilities - a green ball of bags much like the sun mad and on steroids will be lobbied at you whilst they wait toe tappingly for you to leave. Worst staff ever.

Needs to have more items in stock and better trained workers, but it isn't awful, so that's something. The selection of food and produce is nice and it's usually spacious

I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the great work that the Coop Clapham team has been doing. I have been a frequent customer of the store for quite some time now, and I have always been impressed with the level of service and the quality of products that I have received.

In particular, I would like to commend whole team for their exceptional customer service. They have always been friendly, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure that my shopping experience is a positive one. Their attention to detail and ability to provide excellent customer service is truly outstanding and greatly appreciated.

I would also like to mention that the store is always clean, well-stocked, and organized, which makes it a pleasure to shop there. The staff are always friendly and ready to assist, which makes it a great place to shop.

Please pass on my thanks and appreciation to everyone at Coop Clapham. Manager team is doing an amazing job and it is greatly appreciated.

The nicest staff of any grocery store in the neighbourhood. The guys helping with my Hermes return were so so kind, I had no idea what I was doing but they were very patient and helpful. Months ago I asked about a unique wine & they were so nice & genuinely curious, and ordered it in. This location has a ridiculously great team of people working there, I see them treat everyone this well & it makes me want to shop there more.

Regularly run out of stock, then won't restock for a while. If you need any basics then it's okay, or if you need to pay bills, pick up a snack it's fine. Things that are on offer tend to be off the shelf for a while.
