Very handy especially for more chilled foods, saves me walking to Co-op and Aylesford Stores. Very nice staff, better than the awful shop opposite that should close

Lovely little store, only a shame no parking. Cheap deals, nice owners, friendly staff. Needs more vegan options! (Not sure if read this but they have sausages now! Soya ice cream next please) Free cash machine. Open late.

Being my local shop I find it hard to totally avoid the place, but if I could I would.
It was ok until recently, but since the change in staff it's descending into a joke.. a prime example being that the newest staff member doesn't even put items through the till, charges a different price to that displayed on the total and is blatantly stealing the difference.
AVOID unless desperate

I am not suprised at the most recent comment about my local shop. This is confirmation of what i have been suspecting regarding said new member of staff, the short changing is just one of many new u pleasant characteristics of purposefull deviance towards the customers it doesnt stop with clearly short changing me more than once but have now noticed a new level of unnecessary bad customer service, ie as i purchased some items i noticed she was having trouble or so it seemed removing a new bag as at the same time asking a very unnecessary but clearly judgementally aimed question.
I put it to the reader to make sense of but before just taking the words in a normal and friendly manner add the over bearing sudden focus of attention received alongside such questionning. For example when buying a bottle of alcohol in the late afternoon was asked clearly out of malice "you go to work then " i reply "i beg your pardon"
She clealy stuggles with maths and English and the abilty to formulate a sentence in accordance with the question. But after second question "are you work now" my reply was more than needed and very unsettling as i questionned the whole interaction with others before
i will leave out the details apart from the bags it has now been noticed that this is the 5th time one has split on me.
The reason why i have felt the need to leave a comment for other customers to be aware as i feel it may be racially motivated. This bothers me as i felt unnecessarily judged whilst simply purchasing items from my local store .
I leave it with this, the hole in each bag and the verbal construct or lack of yet purposely aimed due to some unnecessary co workers tittle tatle, the questioning is clearly out of spiteful malice. The Londis shop opposite will be my new local from now on.
