Lots of self-service machines and a long queue at cash desk. One employee constantly asking people in queue if they are card customers to use machines when it is obvious that they don't want to use the machines. Today I asked for a receipt as amount paid seemed a little high, but then the machine would not print, so the assistant from neighbouring till came to help thus depriving the ever growing queue of any service. Once it became clear that machine would not print receipt, the assistant offered to go "downstairs" and get me a receipt. I could not wait any longer and the long queue became more agitated, so left without receipt and the belief that I have been overcharged. Will do my very best to avoid this store, but a bit difficult as is my local.

Not a great range of sandwiches, and they do seem to go rather quickly, no matter how early I get there. Self service checkouts seem to have constant problems.

This is a tiny (2 aisle) Saintsbury's local during the day it is busy. Staff not too helpful. General Food to go selection is pitiful. At night there are fewer people and it is almost like a different mindset helpful friendly staff great service. It would be nice to see some continuity.

This Sainsburys is an absolute MESS! The staff have no idea if they are coming or going. The management is completely hopeless! I went in today and there was only 1 staff member on the tills even tho there was a massive queue. There was 2 till staff and the manager Tamanna. There was a woman with a baby trying to get assistance, a woman who wanted to to buy alcohol but couldn’t as needed manager approval yet she was no where to be seen. So we have a big queue of people getting served by one person rather than two or more... when I questioned the manager she said “I can’t open two tills”??? Whoever owns this store needs to take a hard look at the staff and think about restructuring as everyone is incompetent. My advice... boycott this store until their service improves... that’s what I’m going to do

I see that they have removed the review section... I wonder why?? I went back in today, I don’t even know why! The hopeless guy on the till gave me the wrong packet of cigarettes and said that the name had changed? When found out they were the wrong cigarettes I went back and wouldn’t give me a refund even tho it was his fault! Complete MORONS. Sainsburies is this the image that you want to portray of your stores??!

I am a local buyer and I go to this store every day. The staff who work there are very enthusiastic and hardworking, friendly and polite, and also very helpful. It is always a pleasure to visit their store and feel welcome.

I have been in the store three days running and as i use use cash i have waited, waited then waited a lot more to get served and every time the price on the shelf is less to what i get charged.
Amazingly, when i point it out no one fully understands what i mean.
Although i know its not fully the undertrained underpaid staffs fault. This will come from some unneeded overpaid manicured toospoot in an office somewhere.
Come on Sainsbury's up your game.
Im amazed that companies still think there to big to fall .
