Co-op Food - Rubery

Although it's only a smaller style Co op its really is a gem of a local convenience store. Plenty of fresh fruit, veg and bread. Meat, fish and general fresh food selection is excellent and even though you'd maybe struggle to do a full shop it has those everyday essentials, with great beers and wines on offer.Really nice friendly staff too.

Just wanted to say that during stressful shopping times, I have found the staff at Rubery co-op to be the most dedicated, consistently kind, helpful and hardworking members of the community. These guys have to deal with situations I'm glad I can walk away from. Thank you, you are appreciated.

On the whole it's OK. A bit expensive though and their stock levels are abysmal. They'll need to do better once Tesco's re open.

Not a good store they never stock up the wArbutons bread when they know full well how quick it goes that store is a sham

A very well stocked convenience store opened seven days a week!

Only reason I’m putting one star is because I got a bottle of Coca-Cola as well, and it actually turned up correctly… I’m a recovering alcoholic, and I ordered 4 alcohol free ciders. However, they sent over 4 of the alcohol cider instead. IF I WANTED TO MESS UP MY SOBRIETY SO BADLY THEN I WOULD OF ASKED FOR ALCOHOL WOULDN’T I?! If they ain’t collected by the end of the day(28th August 2022), then I’m flushing the liquids away, and smashing up the bottles. {and trust me, that’s a promise!!}

Our local Coop has got better, with a facelift with more sections, upgrades and a complete revamp. Check out the pictures to see the new sections and facilities available.

Generally a very good place in all my experiences the staff have been very helpful and kind. The only criticism I have is the products are quite expensive compared to other stores.
