Co-op Food - Ewell - Chessington Road

Always get nice service here. Generally a nice place to shop. Good to see social distancing in place but security guard only letting 2 people in the shop. ..seemed over the top and had long queue outside. Security guard was standing in the door way and wasn't stepping back when customers entered or exited the store. Should be wearing a mask if he's getting that close to everyone.

Usually this is a lovely store but when I popped in late afternoon on 12th March you were confronted with the woman behind the counter in a red t-shirt as shouting at Deliveroo drives and the way the customers were being served I left at that point and went to the village

Don't live there only occasionally I need to go there but every time I go such friendly staff, thanks for saving me lunchtime last Fri young tall man, cashier w brown round glasses so kind of you all the best

Went here multiple times, Service is amazing, Always a good mood and is arguably best shop to go to in this area. Nothing bad about it except a que at 15:20-16:30 for people out of school

The store is far too convenient, but there are often many empty shelves. They have always been slightly overpriced, but recently their prices are far too high…more than I’m willing to spend. The same items in a different convenience store are much more sensibly priced even with the current fuel price crisis.

The man with the coloured blonde hair and tattoos was very Rude and Unwelcoming this morning.

Very concerned when visited co op today (with my mask on of course). 8 customers in store no one with mask on.I mentioned to member of staff but was told they were not allowed to say anything. I felt extremely vulnerable especially as my husband is immuno suppressed. At start of Covid there was a security person at door which worked well to keep customers safe. Why is this not happening now?

Two of the staff weren't wearing masks today. One had it round her neck; the other didn't have one on at all. I asked him why he wasn't wearing a mask - he said it was personal choice!!!! The co-op website states "Face coverings are now compulsory for customers and staff at our stores, " so personal choice shouldn't come into it! I am furious that the staff can take this so lightly and think they are above the law.
