Co-op Food - Clapton - Chatsworth Road

I really loved my shopping experiences here! And the staff are very polite, and helpful. The store is neatly kept and clean. I never normally shop at co-op; but I will be from now on... And they have the Costa coffee machine! Happy days :)

Great location & ok service but poor selection and often selling out of just what you came for including basics. Many items not cheaper (at all!) or better than local supermarkets, so you're better off supporting the independent businesses on the same street. Tip: Bring an extra dose of patience with you for the extremely slow self checkout machines. It's quicker to do the line for the warm body tills.

The customer service is non existent. Self.service isnt quicker and very poorly stocked shelves. Disappointing. Ended up leaving my shopping at the till due to having painkillers in my shopping and no one coming to assist me so I could pay and get back to work.

Grabbed a lunch deal. The drink in the front wasn't cold, so I reached to the back. I get back home and the drink had the seal broken and didn't look quite full. I don't know if staff is storing their drinks in the cooler or if a random customer helped themselves to a drink and put it back, but I'm quite grossed out. Top of that, I was never offered a receipt

Avoid. It’s never clean in there, the place literally stinks and nobody knows when they last cleaned their shelves. They even had a sleazy security guy at the door a couple of months ago who was chatting up women who just wanted to shop. Really awful place to shop, and needs sorting out - especially the cleaning aspect.

This shop is literally a joke among me and my friends in the area.

It is truly the worst shop I've ever been to.

Avoid if at all possible.

Misleading. Says open until 9pm saturdays yet closed 1hr earlier. Garbage

Overpriced but more problematic are queues for people who can't use the self-service checkouts & especially Amazon Hub collections. Other stores deal with that separately. The manager and staff are inexperienced, petty & incompetent
