What an absolute discrace, the people who are supposed to be on the subway" stand " are sitting at the garage tills talking to the employees running the garage and pumps who are just as useless, I have never been so annoyed at the lack of service and I couldn't even call it professionalism of the so called staff, it's not even worthy of the word disgrace it's ten times worse!!!

Staff always kind stocked very well lots of parking and they have lots of thing you need

Purchased some lunch from the shop and sat in my car to eat it, and then left.. only to be sent a parking fine for £90! No signs displaying any time restriction either. avoid at all costs!

Just got a fine from a rental company. Actually filled the rental car with fuel and for the privilege got fined and also having to pay admin fee to rental company. What a joke, please do not use this petrol station.

Please don’t use this fuel station they will charge you for parking your car, even if you use their services.Just got a fine of 90£ after buying lunch. There is no proper display of the car park charge in this euro garage. I have using this service every Sunday but this is really frustrating.

Received the £90 parking charge notice.

It'll be there loss, because I used get my lunch from Spa/Greggs/Subway every day and fill up my car there most weeks. NEVER AGAIN will I visit that place.

BEWARE! Spend 1 minute more than 30 in this place (easily done, pumping up tyres, fuel, coffee), they will charge you £90 for the privilege of being a customer. I used to be a loyal one, not anymore. Feel cheated. What a joke.

UPDATE: Below, SPAR customer services appear to be making amends by asking for an email about the details of this. In case you were wondering where that led:

They said that it had nothing to do with them as they operate a franchise system. The franchisee basically said that it was my tough luck. So on top of my warning above, I would advise all to be wary of SPAR shops in general, as SPAR appear to have rather slopey shoulders when it comes to their responsibility towards their customers.

£90 for a subway!! Avoid this place at all cost..
