Co-op Food - Surbiton - Ellerton Road

Not my weekly shop, but the Coop is a great community based grocery store with a good selection of quality foods & drinks, own label & brands. Staff are always very helpful and pleasant.

Friendly staff. Nice shop. I asked if I could play Supermarket Sweep and go wild in the aisles but they said try Asda down the road.

Very expensive compared to neighboring mini markets. There also seems to be an ongoing problem with fruit and veg deliveries as the shelves are often empty.

Use this establishment everyday. Excellent staff. Only to happy to help. Especially the manager. They even look after my dog while I shop . Thank you.

This place has gone a bit down hill recently. Most of the staff are still relatively friendly, however often there is nobody at the till and the shop often looks a mess.
Worse still is the ongoing problem with litter around the outside of the store. There is only x1 bin outside, which obviously isn't enough, and obviously isn't managed properly as it is always over flowing. There is also constantly litter, broken glass etc on the pavement and the grass areas right by and nearby the shop (most likely a result of the bin problem). I pass by or visit this store pretty much every day and feel the CoOp needs to take some responsibility for the mess it is causing around the premises.

A very handy and helpful shop, most of the staff are brilliant and have been very good during the covid lockdown etc. I use this shop often and would recommend it to anyone.

I use to go here every day even tho they are overpriced. But when they started to label things as discounted but not honouring it. I told them I'm not coming back. I don't know how some of these people got a job.

Brilliant little local store. Pretty much everything you need there and the staff are extremely great ambassadors too.
