Neelam Post Office & Convenience

I have never reviewed anything on Google, let alone a post office/shop, but I felt I had to in this case. I work on Sundays nearby the shop and have popped in on occasion for the odd thing. Such is the amazing service in here that I chose today to go out of my way to buy things there. Usually a lovely lady serves me, today a younger guy. Their friendliness and general demeanour is something you don't get often in London. I left the shop today feeling happier; that might sound silly, but the world in which we are currently living means (sadly) it's rare to experience such treatment. Thanks!

Ive been a regular customer of neelams for 18 years now and is my go to shop for all my essentials. They are well stocked, reasonably priced & if they haven't got something, will order in for you. The family are lovely, polite, friendly and genuinely care about there customers taking time to get to you know you on a personal level. My son loves going there to see Gee & Neelam for a chat & we class them as friends. This is how all shops should treat there customers & gives the full customer service experience. Cannot recommend highly enough & deserve 10*. May the shop continue to serve our community for many more years to come 👍

Visited this store to use the postal service just before closing hours and they were very polite. Ended up buying a few groceries too. Great shop and very friendly staff. Always happy to support small local businesses so I go back again.

I've been shopping at Neelam Stores since I moved into the area in 2017. The store is clean, tidy and hygenic. They have some fantastic offers on alcohol and groceries. This is a great run family store and the owners will go the extra mile to ensure that the needs of the local community are met. During the 1st lockdown I was unable to leave the house due to Govt restrictions. I phoned the store and within an hour G arrived with the essentials that I needed. His parents are great too. Unlike the supermarkets you can have a chat and mince pie with a glass of bubbly during Christmas as well. Thank you G and I look forward to my next visit.

Always friendly and polite. Shelves are well stocked with a wide range of products. They have made home delivers during this pandemic often late at night to help those who are shielding.

Neelam’s post office and convenience store should win an award for their contribution to the community over the years. They’ve moved and adapted their service constantly to meet our local needs. They are the ‘one happy constant’ that has offered stability throughout this pandemic. They never fail to give five star service - even in these fragile times when customers are anxious and on edge, they maintain their friendly family service. Owners have been managing this post office for decades. Provide an excellent and reliable service and engages with their customers. You can tell owner is passionate about serving the community.

I have just visited the store for a Local Collection service. The gentleman was extremely rude and used derogatory words to me. Upon telling him that he is being rude and I don't like being spoken in that manner, he refused to serve me. Eventually he did serve me but I was left in tears with the words he used. I would never use the store and its services ever again.
