The staff at this branch are always so helpful and polite. They take time to know their customers and even manage a friendly chat whilst serving. I have seen a lot of elderly people leave with a smile on their face as the staff have taken an interest and had a little chat.

I think other people who have left reviews do not understand that the managers in the store do not dictate the price of their products. Co-op pride themselves on being in convenient locations therefore you pay a premium on their products to reflect that convenience.

In terms of this store, the workers here are always polite and helpful given how you can tell over the last few years the number of operators has significantly decreased. The workers are doing the best they can in the situation they are in and as customers I think we need to understand and maybe not get angry when they don't pack our bag that one time, I'm sure you have hands to manage that yourself! Retail is a struggling sector at the moment for the workforce and we need to be more patient and less dictating as a customer to people just trying to earn a living like everyone else.

Unfortunately 1 star is the minimum - and in a perfect world I would be able to give it a minus rating. I have been coming to this branch since I was a child as it's the closest shop to my house. Everything in this Co op, price wise, makes my eyes water. Do the managers believe that money grows on trees in the park across the store? Sometimes I will go out of my way to go to another shop just so I don't have to pay these ill prices for basic food and drink items. The paraphernalia prices are through the roof. And don't even get me started on the staff. Their animosity and arrogant, condescending attitudes while offering bags to a customer who clearly needs them is beyond comprehension, and leaves one wondering why they don't lay off all of the staff for more efficient, less offensive and more polite self serving machines. Although, one staff member, who has worked there for most of my life, is an angel and a credit to an otherwise diseased branch of Co op.

I had an awful experience in this store on the weekend by Cherise who had told me to “do her a favour and never come back!” Simply for not having ID, although my 60 plus year old aunt was purchasing the alcohol and myself and younger cousin were just accompanying her. Cherises’ behaviour was offensive and unprofessional. I feel so let down by co-op who I had previously felt was a reputable brand.

Staff incredibly helpful and thoughtful and really looked after us well. Got all are items quickly and smoothly, and aided me in my search for blue cheese. Even recommended his favorite prosecco! Will be sure to return soon.

Better service than previously experienced at the store from other staff. The coop is quite small but holds diversity of products. Could not get everything we needed due to stock being out on the shelves. The gentleman that served us was far more efficient and friendly than the staff from our last experience at this store. We will venture back.

Great place to buy wine and beer, staff are always friendly and even though it's a small shop, it sells everything you need.
