Co-op Food - Bromley Common

I'm currently self-isolating and was running out of food. Through the Co-op website I arranged a delivery of a small amount of items. I was really impressed with the cheap delivery charge, availability of delivery slots (next day) and the choice and quality of food delivered. There was only 1 substitution which was well chosen. The service totally made my day! Thanks

I attended an interview here and the manager was extremely rude and belittling. Didn’t take my answers seriously and spoke to me as if he was above me. Terrible customer service skills don’t know how he is a manager to be honest .

This has got to be the most walk in shop lifted store in london and so far 25 plus, this year. Still the local police have only made a couple of arrests but the staff were told by the police …. “They can only arrest if the goods stolen are more than £200”!
So the thieves who are clearly more clued up than the coop or the police steel under the £200 limit.

I was in there one day and 2 guys just walked in and filled their bags with drink and just walked off, unchallenged. So any update on the theft record so far? Luckily no one has been hurt, yet!

I wonder if these many robberies will show up on the police yearly reports. The bets are on!!! Stay safe.My monies on ”NOT!

This Coop is extremely well run with friendly staff & is well stocked.
Not easy lunchtimes to find parking nearby.

We love our little Co-OP and the hardworking staff. It does seem to have a big issue with shoplifters but those thieves will rob anything from anywhere and security are more present now. Shop staff should never feel it is their job to challenge shoplifters.

Less of a supermarket and more of a quick fill up point. It covers all the basics but doesn't have a wealth of options but you can usually find something in the category of item you would want. Lots of snack/lunch options with sandwiches and salads. A decent range of local products (great cheeses) The really good thing is the long opening hours

It's really handy, the food is great but I can't believe I was told to move out of the way at 6pm (peak food shopping time) when I was trying to buy food because the assistant was stacking shelves by the microwave food shelf. When I asked them what was a convenient time to come back so I could actually do some shopping and buy food, I was rudely told they would be there all evening by one shelf. The manager was absent and the store supervisor wasn't really interested in what I had to say. I generally find the store very unfriendly.

Excellent range of products nicely laid out. Lovely breads etc. Everything you might need and well laid out. A great local shop.
