Post office and corner shop. Really lovely people it's just a shame it is so small because there is always a queue for the post office.

Got barked at like a dog by the obnoxious woman behind the till because I didn't realise there was a 3 in a store rule and two people had left (assume it was one household as they had 4 in the store!). Was a genuine mistake but the condescending way she spoke to me it was as though I'd just coughed corona in her open mouth. Won't be going back in ever again... There's plenty of other shops and clearly this one doesnt need my custom. Maybe they could invest in clearer signage.

Great shop which has everything you could ever wish for ranging from drinks to snacks. Staff are very friendly especially Adam behind the till always happy to help out

Useless and rude! Not helpful. Won’t take packages as apparently not trained despite times online. Avoid avoid avoid! If it’s not a gossip the staff aren’t interested!

Old guy at till needs training in customer service. Very nude and abrupt. I try to stay away from the store now if he's in. Not a pleasant experience. Think his name is Graham?

Papers arrive only very occasionally and when you phone up the lady who runs the shop denies that there's a problem and gives you an earful. Awful service. If only there was a competitor nearby.

Newspapers are supposed to be delivered daily but actually arrive about half the time. I've never known a service as bad as the one offered by this newsagents.

Staff at the front till very friendly and helpful. Person in the post office section not so caring. Despite the web site and front of shop sign explicitly saying the post office services are available until 7PM, they are NOT because insufficient staff are available to do training. Apparently the situation has been like this for quite some time, to the repeated distress of those in the shop and customers. McColl's head office are aware of this, but don't care enough to correct the web site or shop signage. This gives the clear message they think unnecessarily inconveniencing their customers is an acceptable practice.
