Co-op Food - Tilgate Parade

A variety of products to choose from for your food essentials. Shelves always stocked up with products. Friendly and professional staff makes your shopping experience nice and quick. The store is located by shopping parade which provides you with a space to park.

Some of the staff in this store have very bad customer service. Today I took the name of staff member Hema, this lady is very abrupt, quite rude, unhelpful and so sour faced and sullen, she never smiles. Even though she has been at your store for many years, she has absolutely a complete dislike for customers in her attitude and manner towards us. She does your reputation a great disservice. I hesitate to pop in to the store because shopping in your store is not pleasurable based on the attitude of the staff sometimes. It's never nice to leave a store annoyed when you just wanted to grab a few bits and enjoy your day. Of all your stores in crawley, tilgate has the rudest members of staff. This attitude has existed for years and that's a real shame. It costs nothing to be polite!

Recently bought from Co-Op and barely received half. I called them and told them i have missing items. They told me it's not in stoxk then i made another order and received again only half. But funny thing the items they told me was out of stock came trough again, and not 2 just 1 each. Instead of Potatoes i received Parsnips. Completely amateur people working and not paying attention to the order. More like they don't care about the items they should put in the order. 1 out of 5 star is because the woman i talked to, she didn't care at all what i said and didn't listen to me.

Good products. Cheap. Easy parking. Often a queue though to pay for goods. Occasionally get a group gathering outside the front of the shop which some may find intimidating. Staff pleasant and helpful.

I bought some chicken Kiev's in the co-op yesterday for my dinner they might have been more dearer at £2.85 Asda price is £2.60 but the co-op one tasted very nice .

Helpful polite staff. You can generally get what you need for a small top up shop. Free from range is usually pretty good too. Good for when it's a Sunday, you need groceries and everywhere else is shut.
