The staff in here are always really nice and helpful, and even though the store could do with a bit more fresh vegetables and less junk foods, and yes it is a slight touch over priced, it is extremely convenient and 99% of the time will have what you need. Coming back from a holiday and realising the cupboard are empty, this place will have your back! Highly recommended store. Oh, they have great baked goods, ideal for a Sunday morning breakfast and newspaper!

Staff exceptionally rude...

Re writing my review as I want to make sure that the staff know that the opening and closing times are down to the management and when they pay their staff to. If staff are paid until 22.00 than they shouldn't be expected to start shutting down at 22.00 but should be leaving at 22.00. Be fair McColls!

They staff are helpful and chatty and probably like a lot of employees are not treated how they should be. Either pay staff until 22.15 or change the closing times to 21.45.

The staff are the best thing about the shop. 3* out of 3* for the staff.

Staff are excellent, friendly, and helpful. Prices keep creeping up. Always have good deals on beers and snacks for movies nights.

Went in for a meal deal, picked my MEAL ,SNACK and DRINK went to the til the lad servicing said it was £6 ? I asked why he said the large drink wasn't on the real neither was the sandwich. . . They were all in the fridge in the DEAL section. None marked not included . The member of staff wasn't helpful at all and generally not arsed . Left the shop didnt buy anything. I went to the coop down the road very helpful .

Turned up at 21:56 and door locked. I appreciate staff have to sort things out (etc.) - go there regularly and have no issues whatsoever with the staff - but why advertise you are open until 22:00 if you clearly are not?

Great shop, always has a good amount of groceries, open convenient hours
