Very cute shop and excellent chai tea latte. The locals are also very sweet. My grandmother was so happy to come to this side trip and see the surrounding homes. I loved to see that were was a place to tie up your dog on the patio.

Perfect stop on a cycle ride or walk. Outside and inside tables, table service, proper tea in a pot, bike stands and bike tools, impeccably clean toilet, amazing cakes and flapjacks. I’ve always felt welcomed and enjoyed a stop here.

Visited today to pick up a couple of bits as we are staying In a holiday home nearby. My husband went to pay with cash and was treated like a school boy in a headmistress office. It appears they do not take cash but card only. It maybe there is a sign somewhere saying about card only, however this is of no use to my partially sighted husband. Needless to say this visit will be our first and last.

It's a cafe for introverts. If you can follow clearly signed advice and you like being left alone, you'll be fine. Mind you we like that it's in the middle of nowhere and not packed with people. It feels safe, and calm and you can sit outside my watch the crows and pheasants, maybe do the crossword. Sad to read that they wouldn't help out an 11yr old out though, that is disappointing.

Thank you for doing a special non bread breakfast for me today and great bacon butty as usual, thank you also for the extra Birthday choc brownies, what a lovely surprise! So kind and thoughtful, we had a lovely breakfast for my mums birthday at the trundle. She had a lovely day. Cappuccinos good too. The sponge cake was gorgeous, just made the day! Thanks will be back.

I have visited many times, the attitude of the staff is now cold, unwelcoming, unhelpful and they seem more interested in enforcing their own Covid rules at the expense of common courtesy and human kindness.
Recently my 11yr old son visited with his friend on a bike ride, and wanted to use cash as he had lost his wallet the day before. They would not serve him and dismissed his plea, which I find unacceptable!
They could of helped him if they wanted to, cash is still a currency last I checked. He had to cycle a further 5 miles to tescos (back in the real world) where he could get something to eat & drink. Despite a number of calls to speak to a manager I never received a call back.. take a pack lunch or visit the horse box up at the trundle which is serving good coffee and snacks .

Stopped in this afternoon for a coffee ( August 17th). Unfortunately I only had cash with me, & like many other businesses, card was the order of the day.
A very generous customer stepped in & offered to pay 😊👍.
To quote Mark Twain..
'No act of kindness goes unnoticed.'..
Thankyou kind lady..
