I visited here with my two boys last week. I sat and had a coffee whilst the boys played in the park directly outside where I could keep an eye on them. Great service. Also perused the village shop at the same time. Great selection of local produce, organic produce plus the usual staples for a village shop. I can see me spending a lot more time here. Please remember the staff are all volunteers before you criticise. Great coffee and lovely environment.

Excellent community village shop. Good range of GF products and everyday supplies. Haven't tried out the cafe yet but the cakes look delicious! Very popular. Good to see it being supported. Has a car park or parking on the road if it's full. Well worth popping in if you're in the area.

Such a lovely shop. Everything you could need but the bread sells out fast so get there as soon as you can for that. We also got some applesecco that was delicious and have not been able to find it anywhere since so if you go I recommend you stock up on that. Ice cream was pricey but really tasty and some unique flavours available. Definitely better than going to a supermarket.

Friendly, well stocked volunteer run eco shop. Good range of produce, local bread, jams and preserves, meat from local farms and high quality packaged goods. Can be quite expensive if you are not careful. Outside is a zip wire and play area for children as well as a terrace serving the cafe.

A wonderful community shop built of fine wood material with courteous staff and a good selection of foods. A cafe looks out over the valley.
Almost idyllic.
Just avoid the one day in the year when the village Main Street is closed for the annual downhill Soap Box championship! Or go specifically if you wish.

Love this place! The cafe and shop are run by an amazing team of volunteers and they have just updated the playpark on the field outside. It's a great place to have coffee/ cake and/ or lunch whilst the kids play. We will be back again soon ☕🍰🚸

A little gem in the countryside. Lovely lunch meals in the shop. The homemade Bean Soup was especially delicious. The variety of products and food in the store is wonderful. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Lots of parking available in a very nice location.

Beautiful location to sit outside for coffee/snack, but staff are volunteers and can be forgetful, so if you place a food order then you need to chase it up otherwise you may have a very lon wait!
