Co-op Food - Newbold

Good shop, good staff, only problem is the parking is very short and only 5 cars can park there, so you have to park on the pavement near to it. But overall, good shop and could recommend if anyone is living in the Hinckley and Bosworth Area.

The 'post office' section must've been put in there as some sort of tax dodge rather than as an actual functional facility because literally every time I've needed it, it's not been available.
The standard excuse is that the only person apparently vastly skilled enough to be able to undertake the highly complex process of selling me a stamp is otherwise occupied either unloading a delivery, making the tea, cleaning the windows, or de-fleaing the shop cat etc.
What's the point of it being there at all?
It's about as much use as Anne Frank's drum kit.

This corner shop is a pretty reliable place to pick up what you need. It has your essentials such as milk, bread, drinks, food, etc. The staff are friendly and do their job well. Overall, it's pretty good.

Joke of a shop, 1 member of staff on the tills, then maybe when the que is halfway around the shop another member of staff might open another till, and as for why there is a post office there I have no idea, third month in a row go at 5.30 their having a break be about 15 minutes go at 6.30 same day their having a break be about 15 minutes, absolute joke

The guys here are always friendly and helpful. Never had an issue. They also had a revamp a little while ago so they get a lot more in the same size shop. Always clean and tidy. I think there is a post office component too but this doesn't work that well as it often doesn't have any staff manning it so that could do with being improved on. Oh, they also put in self service stations which make a big difference and really helpful for getting in and out as quick as possible.

Close when they feel like it, the manager Dee is rude when she actually acknowledges you. Don't know how she has a job in customer service because she has none. Already complained. She leaves massive queues and 1 person serving while she stands around doing nothing 👍 not recommended

Terrible customer service in evenings...ask staff if someone is serving after waiting a while, get ignored..I ended up walking out, this is not the first experience I've had in this store where staff prefer to pack shelves and gossip rather than give good customer service. I will not be using this store again.i will be taking my custom elsewhere.

We were visiting relatives when it was discovered an item was required. A quick visit to this covid aware shop solved that. Friendly staff pointed us to the item required.
