SPAR Ryland Service Station Lancaster

Since it is open 24 hours it is great for Sat/Sun night when nothing else is open. The spar is well stocked but expensive. The petrol is on the expensive side too. It is great for takeaway food as well with mini Subway/Greggs/Starbucks (although only one available during night hours is Starbucks). Staff are okay; sometimes friendly, sometimes not.

Short changed my daughter this morning, she was worried to say anything to them so they got away with it.. probably do that to all the kids! Some staff need sacking.. Pathetic.

They dont even have enough staff to allow them to sell the gas canisters in the forecourt. Very poor service.

Had an unusual lighting issue with my car tonight. This was the first garage I came to on my way home. Called in and spoke to a lovely man called Marcus, he had a quick look under the bonnet and tried to fix the issue, which seemed to have rectified itself! Marcus was so kind trying to help so appreciated.

Went for some baccy won't be buying again.
Don't bother buy tobacco products.
Charged £18.50 for a £15 pouch of 30g baccy.
Absolutely daylight robbery.

The staff have always been extremely helpful and kind towards me. Lovely people.

Check your change always. I use this garage for fuel regularly and at least once a week a mistake is made. Never in my favour. Just today I was charged 7 quid for 2× 1.99 disposal e cigarettes. When I pointed it out she tried to say one flavour was a fiver. Rubbish. Happened to have the correct change in her hand. Asked for 20 quid electricity top up. Was first told it wasn't working then miraculously it was. And the subway staff are never behind the counter. Got sick of waiting after 20 minutes. Anyone who lives round here knows its all true. Even the cash machine is uncooperative

Service absolutely abysmal from the subway side of it, the guy that served me had no idea what he was doing and came across like he didn't care, I asked for meatballs apparently it takes 20 minutes to heat up some meatballs, I've worked in subway and it doesn't even one guy left the que, then a lady behind me ordered a vegetarian salad no meat and he didn't even change his gloves even though I had meat on both my sandwiches I spoke to the guy on the till and he didn't seem to care that much.
