The Shop at The Plough

Amazing place to stop on a day out green Laning. Best sausage roll I've ever had and great coffee and hot chocolate. Friendly service. You have to stop there if your passing on a walk/ride

This shop is run by some very lovely people! There is a great selection of drinks and snacks here too.. next time I'm there I'm going to try the cornish pasty as they looked very very nice.

Love this little cafe and the very friendly lady. Hot freshly baked sausage rolls on a rainy day, scrumptious spinach pie and so many other yummy treats. Thanks for staying open during lockdown.

It's really kind of them to leave water outside for any passerby (cyclist, ramblers).
The coffee seems to be up to scratch, though their pastries are not.
The real let down is the time service takes. You could think it's because of the sensible precautions they take with Covid 19. But you'd be wrong.
They are probably the only take away for miles, and they are in a lovely spot. So they are getting away with it. Shame, it could be a wonderful experience.

Lovely little shop, and friendly service! I've wandered here on my way up to or down from Leith Hill, and it's great! They sell a bit of everything, but as I don't live in the area, my highlight was that I could buy local cheeses or wine and beer.

Proper hot chocolate made from chocolate flakes!
