Broadoak Stores, Best-one

Popped in for some lunch bits. Won't be back. The man serving me was to busy on the phone to acknowledge he had a customer. When he put them through the till he just thrust his hand toward me for payment. Not one word spoken throughout the whole transaction.

Friendly local store which has a good range of essentials. Parking is an issue though as passing customers seem to think it's OK to park on the footpath in front of the store, which is on a very busy junction, fporcing pedestrians to walk in the road to get pass, and then they reverse into the junction or the busy A28 which on blind hill, rather than pulling into the layby opposite on Chitcombe Road and walking the short distance to the shop.

Nice shop well stocked, slightly bigger than you think it's going to be. Nice friendly people.

Feeling very sorry for the lady so shaken by the aggression and rudeness suffered in this shop.

Nice shop, with DPD drop off and collection. However, I have downgraded the score owing to the person on duty giving his unsolicited opinions about Covid, then coming out from behind the counter maskless, and continuing to spout conspiracy theories!

Very friendly, warm and smiling staff.

OK for local community. Convince for basic needed iteams.
