SPAR Euro Garage Clayton Brook

Went to pick up a parcel that had been delivered from Very. After waiting for ages before the customer in front of me had been served the assistant then looked for my parcel but couldn't find it, he told me he would look again after serving customers. There must have been 6/7 customers at first count but then more came into the shop and he also served them, so i got a bit fed up and asked him what was going on as i had by now been in the shop for 10 minutes and that i may as well be put on the payroll as i was standing around waiting like an idiot, a bit like most of the staff. Another very rude member of staff appeared, (a bit of a waste of time really as the queue had now gone, where was he before)? and said its their policy to serve paying customers, well' that made me decide that the petrol i was going to purchase from them would now be purchased from Asda and never again will i pop in on my way to and from work and I said i just want my parcel, i've been waiting while customers have been served who were in the shop and also customers who came into the shop whilst i was waiting and even a woman who had left her money in her car. Absolutely ridiculous. So then they decided to be a bit awkward and said have you any ID on you. I said yes but its in my car. He replied well your not getting your parcel till i've seen ID. Why wasn't i asked for this before, like 10 minutes or more ago by the first assistant?.
Anyway i went to my car and explained all to my husband who then came into the shop with me. Well what a difference in attitude, never once asked to look at my ID which they were insistent on me getting for them and took a further god knows how long to retrieve my parcel, then apologised for the wait!!
Obviously only rude to women. Will not step foot in this shop again. Should have known better, always have trouble here picking parcels up. Don't know what the problem is, it's hardly rocket science.

It's easy access to motorways and other major connection roads. Good selection of supplies and a Subway sandwich takeaway. Staff always seem cheerful also. Try to avoid the commercial vehicles in the morning especially on Monday as it's local to a large industrial estate.

Overpriced fuel compared to local competitors and all items in the store are so expensive. Open 24 hours a day which is a big plus, subway is convenient.
