I had to go to the cinema, told the guy I was in a rush and if it would take long for a kebab, he assured me it wouldn't. It was the longest wait for a kebab in my life! It took him 8 minutes to start heating the meat, I had just 1 customer before me and the grill wasn't in use. After a wait of 15 minutes he packs my food and call over a guy to make me pay by card, with a leasure pace he went into another room to get the card machine.
After i paid the guy just left the food packed and ready to go sit behind the counter for another minute while he served someone else, I waited.
At no point I was rude nor asking to get my food quicker, so I don't understand how come I was treated like this. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced
I have ordered the food at 18:45. Received it at 19 (starting time of my movie) and still a 10min run while trying to eat to the cinema

Shadwell grocers Is my after school go to spot I enjoy everything about It the sweets, drinks everything my mum always has a convo with the cashier it always takes so long though I grew up with this store

Great location just outside Shadwell DLR station. The grocery store has everything you need at a good price. The Spice grill serves decent hamburgers, kebabs and indian food. Friendly service. The place itself could look better and be cleaner tough.
