I worked here, the queues are long because we had short staff and it was the re-opening of a post office in town. All staff on the counter are trained unless they are new. We are a newsagents not an small tesco extra/convenience store so dont be surprised if all you get is sweets, papers, parcels and post office. We have to have the store stocked at all times as we are an off-licence hence why it is open till 8pm everyday. Be patient with staff, especially if they are by themselves, i use to run it by myself at some points and have been spoken too in many rude ways for not serving other when there is queues of 5 on both tills and post office. For a convenience store, this place isn't very convenient. They're a sweet shop, news agent, Post Office, and parcel collection store. They're trying to do to much and the queues are always awful.

Absolute shambles. Clueless staff determined to stack the shelves when people are waiting. Resent being disturbed.

I have just experienced possibly the rudest customer service of my life. The young man at the post office counter was surly, aggressive and had a terrible attitude. He did not apologise for keeping me waiting, did not say please or thank you, then muttered a passive aggressive comment about my attitude as I was leaving. When I confronted him about this he had the effrontery to bar me from the shop. Don't worry I will not darken your doorstep again and ADVISE EVERYBODY to BOYCOTT this shop.

This is my new 'Go To' Post Office. The staff are polite under pressure of being a Town Centre shop and always try to give their best. Some of the reviews here are more of a reflection of the customer than the Staff I feel. Keep up the good work. Pete 'Tupelo' D

Rudest most unhelpful staff - think they enjoy not being nice to customers! I was super polite and friendly but they make you feel totally unwelcome as a customer, I would seriously recommend some customer service training! Two bad experiences here in the last week, have learnt my lesson now!

Evening staff are largely awesome but everything else here pretty awful. Social distancing impossible due to queueing system and location of entrance. Really really feels unsafe when busy.

I would like to give no stars but it's not possible. Rudest customer service that I've ever experienced. I asked to speak to the manager and the member of the staff said I could not speak to the manager to make a complaint. He wouldn't give his name either.
I won't be coming back.
