Dils Convenience Store

HONESTLY I can’t believe it!
The shop was in immaculate condition and the moustaches was a classy touch! Great job! Now I’m a local shop connoisseur and this is one of the most spectacular little shops I have visited since the year of 2004 when I went to the opening of a premier shop in Dover.
I’ve never felt so warm and comfortable in a colourful surrounding such as this one.
Thank you all for making my year and I will not be coming in ever again.

I enjoyed this shopping experience deeply. I went in there with low expectations but was surprised by the 2 for 1 dills . I would like too nominate sujans authentic moustache . It was superb 10/10 highly recommend. Choice of music in the shop was amazing and the staff always are too help and make me feel warm inside

Whilst the moustaches are on point, and truly do add to the ambiance, i think the real luster of the store would be the magasine collection. Truly such a collection only reflects the shear dedication of the staff. Can only recomend.

When I need some things I missed in my usual shopping just pop in and get it. Make sure you know it's a small shop so do not expect to many things....still love it as the lady at the cashier are one of the best. She is kind and always have a good things to say.

First time using a DPD collection point and the lovely guy in the store was very friendly and helpful. I now know that you’re here and will no doubt be back in future.

First time leaving a review but feel so strongly I need to make others aware of my experience. I am completely shocked by the staff! Beyond rude and completely unacceptable treatment of customers. I went to collect a DPD parcel and showed my calling card and message on phone (received from DPD). I was greeted with a very rude man who told me the calling card was useless as was the DPD information on my phone. He then practically shoved a laminated Fraud information sheet into my face and told me to read it whilst the lady told me to read the information on my phone. Both raising there voices and extremely exteemely extremely unhelpful. Apparently I can read both at the same time!? Their tone of voice was absolutely awful and they had absolutely no respect, no care and a complete lack of any customer service. A lady (customer) came into the shop and overheard the way they spoke to me. She told me to get my parcel as quickly as possible and get out! The lady behind the counter then proceeded to verbally abuse her and start pointing in her face!!!! I am still shocked to be honest! Never seen anything like it!! The lady (customer) told them she can speak to whomever she likes and that she would never return to that shop (and obviously neither will I)!!!! A very disappointing, upsetting and completely unessessary and unacceptable visit to Dils. I only wanted to collect my parcel. DPD need to find an alternative option for collection of parcels!
UPDATE: I have read your response and I am lost for words. I can see you have quite a few negative reviews regarding your non existent customer service so don't feel any need to justify myself further. Even in your response you are condescending. You say I am an intelligent person yet couldn't read a response from DPD!! Now we both know how the situation went this morning and you have to live with the knowledge of your behaviour. I feel the negative reviews speak for themselves. Instead of trying to blame your customers for your rudeness why not take it on board and be kinder? You have also been reported to DPD. Thank you for your excuse filled response.

Absolutely the best service customer service hands down of any convenience store in the Welwyn Hatfield area. They have everything you might need for making some great food. They are very welcoming always.

Popin regularly for my morning newspaper and have to say ,that the service is second to none, greeted with a cheerful good morning by the husband and wife of this family run store, always polite and helpful nothing is too much trouble, love the good service me and my wife receive and would recommend this shop anytime.
