I was left here by a recovery driver as my breakdown cover only covers 10 miles. The afternoon/evening manager and staff was the nicest people I could ask to meet. They tried to jump start my car and when that failed let me leave my car there overnight so I could bring a new battery out the next day. Price wise they are as you would expect from a service station.

The cafe there is exceptional, the cookies were perfectly moist with generous chocolate chunks. I also recommend the mac and cheese pasty, it had a hint of mustard which resulted in a well rounded meal.

The service station is fine. It's the CASHZONE cashpoint which needs addressing. It's always out of order. Maybe it's me but all I have to do is go within a few feet and it shuts down. Last time I tried to draw cash it just went blank and took my card. Just when I needed the cash for a purchase. I use it now with fear and trepidation because every time it takes my card I have to order a new one and re-register my details about a dozen times. There's an 0800 number with a recorded message which eventually tells you there's nothing Cashzone can do. So come on Buckland Service Station, that cashpoint is dragging you down. Get an upgrade from Cashzone and stop looking second rate .
