Tesco Express

In my opinion this Tesco Express haven't done their research about the area they are in and they cater to the wrong customers.
The prices are too steep in comparison to the regular Tesco and the choice is bad/wrong.
This maybe would work in a busy town centre where people come to buy a quick snack and some junk food, oh and obviously alcohol.
I think they will not last long considering the lease and other expenses, unless of course they will adapt to the local residents' needs.
If it will stay like this (I hope not) their only hope would be alcohol sales for someone who is already too drunk to drive to the better store.
This place was empty for many years, I wish they wouldn't split it and open something like Co-Op which would be a good balance for this area.

Loads of variety, lots of parking and a cash machine

Last Friday night I went to this store expecting to buy some bottles of whiskey and they told me I couldn’t buy (alcohol) because there was no security at the place. That was frustrating. I had to go to a Sainsburys nearby to get the bottles. Funny that at this Sainsburys there was only one attendant and no security as well and they sold me as many bottles as I wanted. Also, this Tesco is very expensive and not many varieties. Not reliable.

Decent store, well stocked as you'd expect a tesco to be. Far better than any local options

Not a greta tescos, workers are lovely but there isn't lots of Choice - it would work for a city centre tescos but not a suburban area like this.

Also once, they told me I couldn't buy alcohol because of security or workers age reasons which was annoying after a 15 minute walk

Great little store, super handy. Very friendly and polite staff. Security guards are great too.
All makes for a pleasant civilised experience.
Everyone is doing everything very well indeed.

Prices are a little out there giving where they are placed (cater for your placement folks), but they have lovely staff, good selections, good parking and overall good little shop.
